Welcome to the SnaffleUp newsletter!
http://www.snaffleup.co.uk is an online resource that gives people with unwanted but useful household items an opportunity to donate them to other people instead of throwing them away.
To encourage more members we need more items to be added to the SnaffleUp website. If you have registered but not added an item yet, have a think about something in the loft or garage that you’ve been meaning to take to the dump. Wouldn’t it be easier to add it to SnaffleUp and have someone collect the item from you? This would save petrol, time, help the environment and encourage more people to do the same.
We’ve been working really hard this month making the web site even easier to use.
We’ve listened to your feedback and created a more useful homepage for members. The homepage now shows the 10 items nearest to your postcode if you are logged in.
Now you can search for any items in your area without having to choose a category or some keywords. We’re also improving email alerts – very soon you’ll be able to receive items from your area straight to you inbox.
If you start adding a new item but the accidentally close the browser or navigate to another page when you return to the Add Stuff page SnaffleUp will remember your unfinished item including the pictures so you can finish where you left off.
We’ve updated our FAQ section with the questions you provided so don’t forget to check those out if you are having trouble.
